I love The Power Glove, it’s so bad!

When I saw that Montt Mardié had done a list of the 100 best songs of the decade I felt I had to get in on the action. I promptly began work on my very own list but I soon realised that 100 was not going to be nearly enough and I couldn’t handle the pain of cutting more and more masterpieces off, so in the end 100 doubled to 200 and I also decided against ranking them in any other way than alphabetically. Call it cowardly, because that’s just what it was. But I finally managed to wilt it down to a solid 200 songs which I feel accurately represents the best of the past ten years. Inevitably, I will go back and hear new songs from this decade and want to include them and I will undoubtably have forgotten one or two gems as well. As of this very moment, however, this is as complete and conclusive a list as you’re going to get from me.
